Frequently Asked Questions

+ What is it?

The Beer Run is a 5K race followed by a local craft beer festival with food trucks, live music, lawn games, and more.

+ What do I get?

All participants get 12 5oz pours from participating breweries, a closed scenic course through a historic 1800's village, tasting glass, and festival access featuring live music, picnic area, lawn games, photobooth, and delicious food vendors.

+ What time does it start?

Check in opens at 10 AM. The race starts at 12 PM and the beer festival goes until 4 PM.

+ What if I don't want to or am unable to run?

We have Beer Fest Only tickets available if you'd rather stay behind and cheer your friends on at the finish line.

+ How long is the run?

The course is 5K (3.1 miles) and you'll be running on pavement, gravel, trails, and dirt roads. Walkers are also welcome if you'd rather take in the scenery and charm of the village.

+ Do I have to be 21+?

Yes, all aspects of the events are 21+. Your ID will be checked at entry. Anyone under the age of 21 or without proper ID will not be admitted into the event. Any person found to be underage will be asked to leave immediately by security and will not be given a refund. This includes small children.

+ Can I bring the kids?

Sorry, but all aspects of the event are 21+. No children are allowed inside the event area under any circumstances.

+ Can I bring a backpack?

Only small non-rigid backpacks are allowed. Please do not bring a large backpack. All bags are subject to search upon entry.

+ Where can I park?

There will be parking onsite. Follow the signs and instructions from the parking lot attendants when you arrive.

+ Do you have a ticket for designated drivers?

Yes! Both to run the race and for the festival only. We encourage all groups to have a designated driver. They will receive a different color wristband and are welcome to enjoy the day and have non-alcoholic beverages.

+ Can I take an Uber or Lyft there?

Yes, ride sharring services will have access to the park. Have them drop you off at the information center.

+ Can I start a team?

Yes! The Beer Run is the only race where your running buddies are your drinking buddies. Round up your crew, come up with a name, and own it on race day. Maybe even dress in costumes!

+ What if it rains?

The Beer Run is rain or shine. We'll have a tent over the beer garden if the weather turns but the show goes on!

+ Will there be a bag check?

Yes. Leave your stuff with us and pick it up when you're ready to go home.

+ Will there be food and non-alcoholic drinks?

Yes, we'll have some amazing food trucks onsite with food and non-alcoholic beverage options to purchase.

+ How does check-in work?

Show up with your ID, get your race bib, get your 21+ wristband, and you're good to go!

+ Are there refunds?

Sorry, no refunds. All sales are final.

+ Can I transfer my ticket to someone else if I can't attend?

Yes, you can edit your attendee info before the event. Have them bring your original confirmation email just in case there are any mix ups at check in. All attendees must present valid ID before entry for proof of age.

We are not responsible for communicating official race info to the person who purchases your ticket. Please forward any race emails to them.

+ Can I bring my dog?

The festival is pet friendly as long as they are on a leash, but dogs are not allowed on the course to keep it safe for everyone.

+ How many people attend?

For quality control, we cap the event at 1,500 people each day.

+ Will the race be timed?

There will be a clock at the finish line, but the race is not chip timed. There are plenty of races out there to get your PB. This one is about having fun!
